The Pitching Tree Continues Tomorrow 24th June

The Documentary Pitch Contest is an event that creates opportunities for filmmakers to show off their creative skills and pitch their filmideas to producers, broadcasters and members of the public. Five chosen up and coming filmmakers have been selected to develop their pitches to a panel of commissioning editors from TV houses in EastAfrica.

They will be guided from their introductory pitch, thentrained by some the biggest names in documentary filmmaking before presenting their final pitch to a public audience including high-profile TV executives. In May this year ZIFF called for submission of projects in which filmmakers use innovative techniques to tell their stories.

The panel of specialists guiding these Pitching Tree Sessions are some of the most experienced professionals in the business, and ZIFF is honoured to have them as special guests of the festival.
