MINI ZIFF- IT'S TAMASHA TIME!

Mini ZIFF is here!

On 22^nd January ZIFF will be holding a RED Carpet Event where Film producers, Actors and other film enthusiasts will congregate to celebrate the best of Bongo movies.

To be held at the New Maisha Club in Dar Es salaam the evening promises to be a night to remember. Speaking of glamour, we expect the dazzling actors and actresses of Bongo movies and music scene to rock the red carpet.

The event will move to ZANZIBAR on 28th and 29th January at the Old Fort amphitheatre (Ngome Kongwe).

Organizer Dean Nyakusi,says, “We are looking forward to the awards that night to be given to a variety of artists and other stakeholder of the film industry in Tanzania. It is a night of encouragement as ZIFF now embarks on a program of encouraging excellence amongst filmmakers in Tanzania”.

On 28 January in the Old Fort in Zanzibar a retinue of the competing films will be shown at a function to be hosted by the hilarious Steve Nyerere. Films to be shown include Mr.President directed by Steve Nyerere, Big Daddy by Steve Kanumba, Pamoja by Pastor Myamba, Dj Ben by J.B, and a world premiere from CL& CY productions.

The following night will be the final event of the Mini ZIFF where the major Awards for 2011 Bongo Movie Industry will be given. The year 2011 commemorative medals will be given to winners in 10 categories.

To cap it all in the Mambo Club the gregarious and uncontrollable AT and Offside Trick will share the same stage for the first time in history.
