Taka Takata is a soccer social comedy about a small community’s success to achieve the unthinkable. Starring some of South Africa’s biggest celebrities, Trevor Noah, Kagiso Lediga, Anele Ndoda and Samkelo Ndlovu, it tells the tale of the Flamingoes FC, a local Jo’burg soccer team at the bottom of the soccer league. We go on their timely journey from identity, skill, and relationship crises to self respect, soccer, and romantic victories.
